I am a Filipino bodybuilder, living and working in Manila, capital of the Philippines.
I have been working out for more than 10 years. Since 2011, I have trained with a coach, followed strict diet and got proper supplementation, and I started getting better and better results! I won Mr Philippines title in May 2012, and won Overall title in several bodybuilding contests in my country. My greatest achievement so far is to be the Overall Champion in the HKFBF Bodybuilding contest in Hong Kong on July 23rd, 2014. In the photo below, Dr Rafael Santonja, IFBB President, is holding my right hand in the victory pose.
This victory in Hong Kong gave to me an IFBB Pro card.
By the way, you can see more personal details in this web site.
Now I am preparing for my pro debut. I have not yet decided which contest I will compete in as the IFBB Pro contest calendar for year 2015 is not yet published. I am competing in IFBB Pro Men 212 Lbs category. It is unlikely that there will be a Men 212 lbs pro contest in Asia.
So based on the 2014 calendar, my IFBB pro debut will be either in Chicago or in Tampa Bay. I hope to meet you there. My ultimate goal is to compete in the most elusive bodybuilding show on earth, Mister Olympia.
I am from a third world country, the Philippines. The trip to US to participate in an IFBB Pro show needs an important budget. I am currently raising funds to help cover costs and expenses surrounding my upcoming competition season and I am asking for your help.
I am seeking individual as well as corporate support.
A few of the many expenses that your contribution will help cover are travel, hotel, supplements and professional fees. Contest preparation in itself can be very expensive as my diet is very strict and I go through many hours of training.
I have met some of the most incredible people as I have traveled around South-East Asia to participate in bodybuilding competitions. I look forward to the upcoming season in the US.
Thank you for your time to read the reason of my campaign to raise funds.
I truly appreciate your contribution. See below if you want to help.
Sincerely, Joseph Ferandez IFBB Pro (212lb)
